The fresh clean tastes of basil, lemon and gin are complimented by the luscious grape, orange zest and quinine undertones of the Lillet blanc.
Ingredients
- 1/2 lemon quartered
- 6 basil leaves
- 1/4 ounces simple syrup
- 2 ounces Lillet blanc
- 1 ounce gin
Directions
- Place the lemon, basil and simple syrup into a cocktail shaker and muddle gently.
- Fill the shaker with ice and then add the Lillet blanc and the gin.
- Vigorously shake the mixture for 35 seconds and then double strain into a cocktail glass; serve immediately.
