Simple fried potato recipe.
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup white sugar
- 2 large russet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cups warm water
Directions
- Dissolve the sugar in the water. Soak the potatoes in the mixture for 15 minutes. Drain.
- Heat the oil in a medium-high heat skillet. Fry the potatoes and onions for 20 minutes, stirring frequently.
