This French version of the classic Blood and Sand cocktail adds a touch of sophistication with the addition of Dubonnet Rouge and cognac.

- This French version of the classic Blood and Sand cocktail adds a touch of sophistication with the addition of Dubonnet Rouge and cognac.
- 3 ounces cognac
- 1 ounce cherry liqueur
- 3/4 ounce fresh orange juice
- 3/4 ounce fresh lemon juice
- cocktail cherries and lemon twists
Directions
- Place 2 cocktail glasses in the freezer for 5 minutes to chill.
- Put all of the ingredients, except for the garnishes, into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Vigorously shake the mixture for 35 seconds and then strain into the pre-chilled cocktail glasses.
- Garnish the drink with the cocktail cherries and lemon twists and then serve immediately.
