This cocktail is a spinoff of a classic martini. It contains a few dashes of pastis; an anise-flavored liqueur which is similar to absinthe but does not contain wormwood.
- 1 ounce gin
- 1 ounce dry vermouth
- 1 ounce sweet vermouth
- 1 – 2 dashes pastis
- Place a martini glass into the freezer for 5 minutes to chill.
- Place all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker and stir with a bar spoon for about 25 seconds until chilled.
- Strain the mixture into the prepared glass and serve immediately.
