Directions

1. Beat the egg whites until peaks form. Set aside.
2. Combine the sugar, corn syrup and water over low heat. Stir until dissolved. Cook until hard ball stage is reached. Remove from heat.
3. Pour the sugar syrup into the egg whites, stirring constantly. Mix in the vanilla. Beat until the mixture holds it shape and is dull.
4. Mix in the nuts. Drop from a buttered spoon onto waxed paper.
