Fondue Cheese Puffs are browned in hot oil.


  • 1 pound Cheddar cheese, cubed
  • 1 pound Monterey Jack cheese, cubed
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • bread crumbs
  • oil for frying


  1. Dip cheese cubes into beaten eggs. Roll in bread crumbs immediately. Place on a tray and refrigerate until serving time.
  2. Fill fondue pot 3/4 full with oil; heat oil. Place cheese cube on fondue fork. Cook in hot oil for 1 minute.
