This tiki drink is a seriously strong concoction of citrus juices, rum, brandy, gin and sherry. To quote its originator, Trader Vic, "Fog cutter, hell. After two of these, you won't even see the stuff."


  • 2 ounces fresh lemon juice
  • 1 ounce fresh orange juice
  • 1/2 ounce orgeat syrup
  • 2 ounces light rum
  • 1 ounce brandy
  • 1/2 ounce gin
  • 1/2 ounce sweet sherry


  1. Place all of the ingredients, except for the sherry, into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
  2. Vigorously shake the mixture for 35 seconds and then pour into a cocktail glass adding additional ice if needed.
  3. Float the sherry on the top of the drink and then serve immediately.
