This dirty Martini becomes ‘filthy’ with the replacement of the traditional olive for a caperberry and its brine.


  • 3 ounces vodka
  • 1 ounce caperberry brine
  • 1/2 ounce dry vermouth
  • Ice
  • 1 caperberry, for garnish


  1. Place a martini glass in the freezer for 5 minutes to chill.
  2. Put all of the ingredients, except for the garnish, into a cocktail shaker and then fill with ice.
  3. Shake the mixture vigorously for about 35 seconds and then strain into the prepared glass. Serve immediately.
