Feta pairs beautifully with sweet pieces of mixed fruit due to its creamy and salty taste. Serve this appetizer with a bottle of white côte d'or burgundy.


  • 2 8-ounce blocks feta cheese
  • 2 cups assorted chucks of peeled fresh tropical fruit, such as kiwifruit, pineapple, papaya, guava, or mango


  1. Create ‘bowls’ from the feta blocks by using a melon-baller to carefully remove the cheese from the center leaving about 1/2-inch thick sides.
  2. Place the mixed fruit into the hollowed feta and serve.
