It is unclear where this rum-based cocktail obtained its odd name from, but what is obvious is its rich and complex blend of ingredients.
Ingredients
- 3/4 ounce Dubonnet Rouge
- 2 ounces aged rum
- 1/4 ounce Bénédictine
- 1/4 ounce Cointreau
- orange zest twist to garnish
Directions
- Place all of the ingredients, except for the orange twist, into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Slowly stir the mixture for 30 seconds and then strain into a cocktail glass.
- Garnish the drink with the orange zest twist and then serve immediately.
