Gin with a swish of vermouth, but enough to still call it an Extra-Dry Martini.
- 1 1/2 ounces gin
- 1 1/2 teaspoons dry vermouth
- 1-2 olives for garnish
- Add ice to a martini glass and allow to chill.
- Fill a cocktail shaker halfway full with ice. Pour the gin in and gently stir, do not shake, to chill the liquid.
- Dump the ice from the martini glass. Pour the vermouth in and stir around. Pour out the vermouth and strain the gin into the cup. Garnish with the olives.
