This version of the classic Old Fashioned cocktail creates a slightly sweet beverage with just the right amount of bitters. Serve in a rocks glass garnished with a lemon zest twist.

Ingredients

2 ounces Bourbon
1 teaspoon Simple Syrup
3 Dashes Angostura Bitters
Lemon zest twist to garnish

Directions

Place all of the ingredients, except for the lemon twist, into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
Slowly stir the mixture for 30 seconds and then strain into a cocktail glass.
Garnish the drink with the lemon zest twist and then serve immediately.
