El Diavolo Short Ribs are tender and flavored with mustard and horseradish.
- 6 pounds beef short ribs
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 1/2 tablespoons dry mustard
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 beef bouillon cubes
- 2 cups onions, chopped
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
- In large Dutch oven over medium heat in hot oil, brown short ribs well. Stir in remaining ingredients and 1 1/2 cups water.
- Cover pan and cook over low heat about 2 hours and 30 minutes or until ribs are fork tender. Remove ribs to heated platter; skim off fat from remaining gravy and pass gravy to serve over ribs.
