Try this summer alternative to a margarita; a blend of tequila, crème de cassis, freshly squeezed lime juice and ginger beer makes it truly refreshing.


  • 1-1/2 ounce tequila
  • 1/2 ounce crème de cassis
  • 1/2 ounce fresh lime juice
  • 1-1/2 ounces ginger beer
  • Lime wheel to garnish


  1. Place the tequila, crème de cassis and lime juice into a cocktail shaker and then fill the shaker with ice.
  2. Shake the mixture vigorously for 30 seconds to combine and then strain into a rocks glass.
  3. Top the cocktail with the ginger beer and then garnish with the lime wheel. Serve immediately.
