Fun, refreshing and delicious are the perfect adjectives to describe this rum-based cocktail made with falernum, ginger beer and fresh lime juice.
Ingredients
- 2 ounces Dominican rum
- 1-3/4 ounce white rum
- 1/2 ounce falernum
- 3/4 ounce ginger syrup
- 1 ounce lime juice
- 3 ounce ginger beer
- Mint sprig to garnish
Directions
- Place all of the ingredients, except for the ginger beer and garnish, into a cocktail shaker filled with crushed ice.
- Shake the mixture vigorously for 30 seconds and then strain into a cocktail glass, adding more crushed ice to fill the glass if needed.
- Top with the ginger beer, garnish with the mint sprig and serve immediately.
