Vegetable Melange is great for vegetarians and picky eaters.

Ingredients

  • 4 medium celery stalks
  • 3 medium carrots
  • 2 medium zucchini
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 pound Chinese pea pods
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/8 teaspoon cayenne

Directions

  1. Cut celery, carrots and zucchini into matchstick-thin strips.
  2. In 12 inch skillet over medium heat, in hot butter, cook celery and carrots about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add zucchini, pea pods, salt, Worcestershire and cayenne. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are tender-crisp.
