Easy Toffee Bars

This easy-to-make dessert will soon become a popular favorite among your friends and family.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup toffee bits, chopped

Directions

  1. Cream butter, brown sugar and vanilla. Mix in flour and salt.
  2. Fold in chocolate chips.
  3. Pour batter into a prepared 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle toffee bits over top of batter.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees F for 25-30 minutes. Cut into bars while still warm.
