Sausage Pinwheels are delicious tender slices and make a hearty appetizer.


  • 2 cups Bisquick baking mix
  • 1 pound sausage


  1. Mix 1/2 cup water with Bisquick to form a dough. Divide dough in half; place each half between sheets of waxed paper. Flatten dough with hands to form rectangles. Spread half the sausage over each rectangle. Roll as for jelly roll. Refrigerate until chilled.
  2. Slice into 1/4 inch thick pinwheels. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 425 degrees F for 15 to 20 minutes.
