Sausage Pinwheels are delicious tender slices and make a hearty appetizer.
- 2 cups Bisquick baking mix
- 1 pound sausage
- Mix 1/2 cup water with Bisquick to form a dough. Divide dough in half; place each half between sheets of waxed paper. Flatten dough with hands to form rectangles. Spread half the sausage over each rectangle. Roll as for jelly roll. Refrigerate until chilled.
- Slice into 1/4 inch thick pinwheels. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 425 degrees F for 15 to 20 minutes.
