Jewish Coffee Cake is made with sour cream and vanilla pudding so it's very moist.
Ingredients
- 1 package yellow cake mix
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 4 eggs
- 1 package instant vanilla pudding
- 1/2 pint sour cream
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 1/3 teaspoons cocoa
- 1 1/3 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/3 cup pecans, chopped
Directions
- Beat together cake mix, oil, eggs, pudding and sour cream for 5 minutes. Mix together sugar, cocoa, cinnamon and nuts. Pour 1/2 of cake batter in a greased and floured 9 by 13 inch baking pan. Sprinkle with sugar/nut mixture; add rest of batter. With a knife swirl batter to mix layers.
- Bake at 350 degrees F for 50-55 minutes.
