This creamy gin-based dessert drink is made with a whole egg to give it a thicker texture and a frothy consistency. Dry shaking the ingredients will thoroughly emulsify the egg making it safe to consume.


  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 ounce almond syrup
  • 1 ounce gin
  • 3 to 4 ice cubes
  • Grated Nutmeg and Cinnamon to garnish


  1. Place all of the ingredients, except for the garnish, into a cocktail shaker, and shake vigorously for 40 seconds.
  2. Fill the shaker with ice and then vigorously shake the mixture again for an additional 40 seconds to chill.
  3. Strain the mixture into a cocktail glass, garnish with the grated nutmeg and cinnamon, and then serve immediately.
