This creamy gin-based dessert drink is made with a whole egg to give it a thicker texture and a frothy consistency. Dry shaking the ingredients will thoroughly emulsify the egg making it safe to consume.
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 ounce almond syrup
- 1 ounce gin
- 3 to 4 ice cubes
- Grated Nutmeg and Cinnamon to garnish
- Place all of the ingredients, except for the garnish, into a cocktail shaker, and shake vigorously for 40 seconds.
- Fill the shaker with ice and then vigorously shake the mixture again for an additional 40 seconds to chill.
- Strain the mixture into a cocktail glass, garnish with the grated nutmeg and cinnamon, and then serve immediately.
