Easy Fudge Icing compliments any layer cake.

Ingredients

1/4 cup cocoa
1 1/2 cups sugar
1/2 cup milk
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup shortening
vanilla to taste

Directions

Mix cocoa, salt, sugar, shortening and milk in a saucepan, stirring well. Cook to boiling and boil 2 minutes. Add vanilla and beat until thickened.
