Easy Fudge Cake

Easy Fudge Cake is moist and a great after school snack.

Ingredients

  • 3 ounces unsweetened cocoa
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/3 cup shortening
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 3/4 teaspoon vinegar
  • 3/4 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 eggs

Directions

  1. Mix milk and vinegar. Mix all ingredients together. Pour batter into two round cake pans lined with wax paper. Bake at 350 degrees F about 30 to 35 minutes. Test with a toothpick in center for doneness. Turn out of pans and pull off wax paper while still warm. Frost as desired.
