Dukkah is an Egyptian blend of spices made with toasted nuts and seeds. Enjoy it sprinkled onto salads, soups, or even slices of bread drizzled with olive oil.
Ingredients
- 1 cup nuts
- 1/2 cup sesame seeds
- 1/2 cup coriander seeds
- 1/4 cup cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
Directions
- Toast the nuts and the seeds in batches by placing into a small sauté pan over medium heat, and dry cooking until fragrant. Make sure to agitate the pan frequently to ensure even cooking.
- Transfer the toasted nuts and spices to a food processor and pulse the mixture until it reaches a fine crumble consistency. Keep the Dukkah stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator until ready to use.
