A bit more bourbon, a little less Dubonnet Rouge and the addition of dry vermouth and Angostura bitters makes this Dubonnet Manhattan #2 Cocktail.
Ingredients
- 1-1/2 ounces bourbon
- 3/4 ounce Dubonnet Rouge
- 1 teaspoon vermouth dry
- 3 dash Angostura bitters
- Cherry to garnish
- Lemon zest twist to garnish
Directions
- Place all of the ingredients, except for the lemon zest twist and the cherry, into a cocktail shaker filled with ice.
- Slowly stir the mixture for 30 seconds and then strain into a cocktail glass.
- Garnish the drink with the lemon zest twist and the cherry, and then serve immediately.
