Down East Halibut Steak has a tangy sauce studded with onions.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds halibut steak, cut 1/2 inch thick
  • 2 teapoons salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup onions, sliced thin
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

Directions

  1. Brush baking dish with some of the melted butter. Arrange halibut steak and season with salt and pepper. Brush with remaining butter. Cover fish with onions and ketchup. Bake at 400 degrees F for 30 minutes.
