This recipe was inspired by smoothies made with cooked oatmeal and lots of raw oats. The doughiness of these smoothies was so good that I had the idea to combine overnight oats with a smoothie.
Ingredients
- 1 cup raw rolled oats
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons chia seeds
- 1 banana
- Sprinkle cinnamon
- Splash vanilla
- Pinch kosher salt
Directions
- Combine all of the ingredients into a blender, stir it and put it in a fridge overnight. In the morning, add about 1/4 cup more of milk (just to loosen things up) and whirl away. Top with your favorites!
