Double Anise Hot Chocolate

A blend of star anise pods and anise seeds gives this hot chocolate beverage unique and delicious flavor.

Place the milk, cream, star anise and anise seed into a saucepan over medium heat and bring to a simmer.
Remove the pan from the heat, cover and let steep for 10 minutes. Strain the mixture and then add the chopped chocolate.
Whisk the mixture over medium heat until the chocolate has completely melted and then pour into 2 mugs; serve immediately.
