Dubonnet rouge is a red wine-based aperitif that is flavored with spices and hint of quinine. Try it mixed with gin, orange curaçao and Fernet Branca in this sleek and sassy cocktail.


  • 1-1/2 ounces gin
  • 1/2 ounce Dubonnet rouge
  • 1/4 ounce Fernet Branca
  • 1/4 ounce orange curaçao


  1. Pre-chill a cocktail glass by placing it into the freezer for 5 minutes.
  2. Put all of the ingredients into a cocktail shaker and then fill with ice.
  3. Stir the mixture for 30 seconds and then strain into the prepared glass; serve immediately.
