Ingredients

  • 1-3/4 cups flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1-1/4 sticks butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1-1/3 cups buttermilk

Directions

  1. Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt; set aside.
  2. Cream butter, sugar, brown sugar, eggs and vanilla.
  3. Blend flour combination and buttermilk into egg mixture.
  4. Pour batter into prepared muffin tins.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
