This warm drink is a wonderful creamy and sweet treat to enjoy during the cold winter months. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and a dusting of freshly ground nutmeg.
Ingredients
- 1 pound brown sugar
- 2 ounce Depaz Cane Syrup
- 1/4 pound butter
- Pinch of salt
- 4 ounce fresh apple cider
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 ounces Depaz Blue Cane Amber Rhum
- Approximately 6 oz hot water
Directions
- Place the brown sugar, syrup, butter salt, cider, nutmeg and cinnamon into a large saucepan over medium high heat, and bring the mixture to a boil while stirring frequently to prevent sticking.
- Place 2 heaping spoonfuls of the mixture into a mug and then add the Depaz Blue Cane Amber Rhum and the hot water. Stir to mix, garnish and serve.
