This cocktail recipe dates back to the 1930s where it was allegedly first conceived at the Ritz Bar in Paris. Enjoy the light touch of flavor from the Benedictine blended with the complexity of the fresh orange juice and gin.
Ingredients
- 2 ounces Plymouth Gin
- 1/2 ounce Benedictine
- 1/2 ounce Fresh Orange Juice
- 1 dash Orange Bitters
- Orange peel to garnish
Directions
- Put all of the ingredients, except for the garnish, into a cocktail shaker and then fill with ice.
- Shake the mixture vigorously for 30 seconds and then strain into a cocktail glass.
- Garnish the cocktail with the orange peel, and then serve immediately.
