Deluxe Mussels are served with a white wine flavored cream sauce.


  • 4 dozen fresh mussels, cleaned and bearded
  • 1/2 quart heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1 tablespoons shallots, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste


  1. Add all ingredients to saucepan and cover. Steam mussels until they open. Place mussels in a bowl on the half shell and reduce sauce until desired thickness. Pour sauce over mussels and serve.
