A tastebud pleasing fresh blueberry muffin recipe.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons shortening
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 cups flour
- 3 tablespoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoons salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 1/4 cups floured blueberries
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease or line a muffin pan.
- Cream together the shortening and sugar. Stir in the eggs, flour, baking powder, salt and milk until well blended. Fold in the berries.
- Fill the muffin tins 2/3 full.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes.
