Battered and fried oyster dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/2 cup cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 pint oysters, drained
  • Vegetable oil

Directions

  1. Mix together the egg and water. In a shallow pan mix together the crumbs, salt and pepper.
  2. Dunk the oysters in the egg and then roll in the crumbs.
  3. Deep fry in the oil until golden brown.
