Battered and fried oyster dinner.
Ingredients
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1/2 cup cracker crumbs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 pint oysters, drained
- Vegetable oil
Directions
- Mix together the egg and water. In a shallow pan mix together the crumbs, salt and pepper.
- Dunk the oysters in the egg and then roll in the crumbs.
- Deep fry in the oil until golden brown.
