Top off a generous slice of Danish Apple Cake with a dollop of whipped cream for an elegant dessert.
Ingredients
- 4 large apples, peeled and cored, coarsely diced
- 1/2 cup nuts, chopped
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 3/4 cups sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Directions
- Mix chopped apples with nuts. Set aside. Cream oil and sugar together; add eggs one at a time, then vanilla. Add dry ingredients gradually. Then add apples and nuts.
- Turn into a greased 9 by 13 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes.
