  • 1/3 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground chipotle chile powder
  • 2 teaspoon lime zest


  1. Place all of the ingredients into a shallow bowl and whisk well until thoroughly blended. Add the steak to the marinade, toss to coat and then cover and place in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours or overnight, making sure to flip the steak occasionally.
