Crusty Sweet Potato Casserole will become a traditional holiday favorite.

Ingredients

  • 3 cups cooked sweet potatoes, drained and peeled
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 stick margarine
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup self rising flour
  • 1/3 stick margarine
  • 1 cup chopped nuts

Directions

  1. Mix first 7 ingredients together in mixer or mash by hand. Pour into casserole.
  2. Mix remaining 4 ingredients together and spread over sweet potato mixture. Bake at 300 degrees F for 35 minutes or until brown to make a crunchy topping.
