This sweet bread makes an excellent breakfast treat!
Ingredients
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup granola
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 1/2 cup mashed bananas
- 1/2 cup raisins
Directions
- Combine flour, brown sugar, baking soda, salt, cinnamon and granola.
- In a separate bowl, mix together buttermilk, banana and raisins. Add to flour combination.
- Pour batter into greased loaf pan. Bake at 375 degrees F for 35-40 minutes or until golden brown.
