This can be put into small containers, placed in freezer and served later.

Ingredients

  • 4 pounds boneless lean pork shoulder
  • 1 can cola
  • 1 bottle barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Directions

  1. Place roast in crock pot.
  2. Pour cola over roast.
  3. Cover and Cook on low for 10 to 12 hours.
  4. Remove pork roast from pot.
  5. Shred into a bowl.
  6. Discard liquid.
  7. Return roast to crock pot.
  8. Add barbecue sauce and stir slowly.
  9. cover and continue to cook on low for 5 to 6 hours.
  10. Add more barbecue sauce if needed.
  11. Serve.
