Tender and buttery, Crescent Sugar Cookies are rolled in confectioners' sugar.

Ingredients

1 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup confectioners' sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 tablespoon water
2 cups flour
1 cup pecans, finely chopped
confectioners' sugar for coating

Directions

Cream butter, sugar, vanilla, water and flour. Add pecans. Form into small rolls, 1 1/2 inches long.
Bake at 300 degrees F for 20 minutes or until delicately brown. While hot roll in confectioners' sugar.
