Creole Seafoam Frosting is a classic recipe made with brown sugar.
Ingredients
- 2 unbeaten egg whites
- 5 tablespoons cold water
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
- Combine egg whites, salt, cold water and brown sugar in a large bowl. Stir well. Beat over a low heat until mixture holds peaks, 5 to 7 minutes. Add vanilla and mix.
