Creole Sauce for Fish is delicious on any kind of fish.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons green pepper, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
  • 1 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/8 teaspoon baking soda

Directions

  1. Saute onion, green pepper, parsley and celery in butter, about 5 minutes. Add ketchup, water and seasonings. Cover and cook slowly for 20 minutes. Pour over fish.
