This is a great cold soup for hot summer days.


  • 1 medium green pepper chopped
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 can condensed cream of celery soup
  • 1-3/4 cups milk


  1. In saucepan cook green pepper and onion in water until tender.
  2. Stir in condensed soup, then the milk.
  3. Heat through, stirring occasionally.
  4. Cover and chill.
  5. For a great garnish you can float green pepper rings on top of the soup.
