Pour Creamy Fruit Salad Dressing over cut up fresh fruit and jello.


  • 1, 8 ounce can pineapple
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup whipped cream


  1. Drain pineapple, reserving juice. Add enough water to reserved juice to measure 1 cup liquid. Combine egg, cornstarch, sugar and salt in 1 quart double boiler. Add pineapple juice, mixing well.
  2. Cook over hot water until mixture thickens; set aside. Fold whipped cream into cooled custard.
