This is the perfect summer salad to serve with grilled meats and poultry. Its creamy and cool taste pairs wonderfully with hot barbeque fare served right off the grill.


  • 2 large cucumbers, peeled sliced
  • 1 white or yellow onion, sliced
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill
  • Fresh ground pepper


  1. Place the sliced cucumbers and onion into a salad bowl and then add the mayonnaise, sour cream, vinegar, pepper and dill. Toss the mixture gently, yet thoroughly to coat, and then place in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to chill prior to serving.
