Tender Cream Cheese Pastry makes a delicious pie crust.
- 1 1/4 cups flour
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1, 3 ounce package cream cheese, softened
- Sift flour, measure than resift with salt.
- In a mixing bowl, cream butter and cheese together; add flour and blend with pastry blender, until mixture resembles fine meal.
- Turn onto a square of waxed paper, gather ends of paper to enclose dough and press firmly together. Chill in refrigerator, at least 30 minutes, until ready to roll.
