Tender Cream Cheese Pastry makes a delicious pie crust.


  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1, 3 ounce package cream cheese, softened


  1. Sift flour, measure than resift with salt.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and cheese together; add flour and blend with pastry blender, until mixture resembles fine meal.
  3. Turn onto a square of waxed paper, gather ends of paper to enclose dough and press firmly together. Chill in refrigerator, at least 30 minutes, until ready to roll.
