Cranberries are not just for Thanksgiving. Cranberry Cake is deliciously moist and buttery.
Ingredients
- 2 cups cranberries
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup nuts, chopped
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup flour
- 2 teaspoons almond extract
Directions
- Butter a 10 inch pie plate. Add cranberries, chopped nuts and sugar. Melt butter. Beat eggs until light and gradually add the 1 cup sugar. Add melted butter; add flour and almond extract.
- Pour this mixture over cranberries. Bake at 350 degrees F for 60 minutes or until golden brown.
