A great welcome drink to serve guests coming to Thanksgiving Day Dinner, as its main ingredient plays upon the festive cranberry theme.

Place the cranberry sauce, bourbon, and amaretto in a cocktail shaker and muddle to combine.
Fill the cocktail shaker with ice, cover and shake the mixture for 30 seconds to combine.
Pour the contents of the shaker into a highball cocktail glass and then top with some ginger ale and the juice from the lime wedge. Serve immediately.
