Sweet flavored popcorn.

Ingredients

  • 4 quarts fresh popcorn
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup dark corn syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Grease a roasting pan, and fill with the popcorn.
  3. Mix together the sugar, butter, corn syrup, salt and vanilla. Stir constantly over medium heat until it boils, let boil for 5 minutes.
  4. Pour over the corn and stir to coat. Bake for 1 hour. While cooling stir every 15 minutes. Stir in an airtight container.
