Old fashioned collard greens.
Ingredients
- 1 bunch of collard greens, washed
- 4 cups water
- 1 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspon salt
- 1 1/2 pounds ham hocks
Directions
- Chop the greens in thirds. Place in a boiler. Add the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce to a slow boil, cover and cook until tender.
